Family Outing to Aberfoyle Antique Market - Sat. May 7, 2011

Join us for a day in the country on Saturday May 7th (Mother’s Day Weekend). It will be a day of laughs and fellowship as we visit an outdoor antique market, tour a local organic farm and have a few more adventures along the way. Here is the day's itinerary:

8:00am-11:00a.m.-Aberfoyle Antique Market
Gates Opens 8:00am (feel free to arrive at anytime)
Admission: $5 pp
Canada’s oldest outdoor antique show in the charming village of Aberfolye where you can enjoy 20 acres of cabins full of antiques and treasures at all price points.

11:30am-Picnic Basket Swap aka Lunch (please meet in the picnic area on show grounds)
You can purchase your food at the show grounds but why settle for hot dogs when you can join the Picnic Basket Swap? To participate email Janette Lee at janette.lee@rogers.com with the number of members in your family and any food restrictions and you’ll be paired with another person/group.

2:30pm Thatcher Farms Tour (approx start time)
Thatcher Farms offers additive and hormone free beef, pork and lamb as well as sweet honey right from the hives, pure maple syrup, a variety of meat pies, artisan cheeses, jams and jellies. Thatcher Farms has graciously agreed to give our church a private tour of their farm that will commence at 2:30p.m.

3:30pm - Lucie's Bakery & Deli
